INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach a light weight target to one end of a meterstick with a string (target should hang about 8 in below the meterstick).
2. Balance the meterstick on your head with the target in front.
3. Keep your fixation on the target but be aware of your surroundings.
4. Walk forward while looking at the target with the meterstick balanced on your head.
5. Continue to be aware of your surroundings.
6. Walk backwards while looking at the target with the meterstick balanced on your head.
7. While focusing on the target, have your partner call out different objects in the room, within your field of view.
8. As your partner calls out the objects, locate them in your field of view, without moving your fixation from the target.
9. Switch your fixation from the target to the object then back to the object.
10. Use a metronome to keep a beat of 60bpm.
11. Walk forward to the beat of a metronome, while looking at the target, with the meterstick balanced on your head.
