1. Hold or place the meterstick at eye level, as close as you can see along the whole length of the meterstick without having to move your head.
2. The 50cm mark should be bisecting the nose.
3. Place the pins every 20cm on the meterstick.
4. Shift your focus from the furthest left pin to the next pin down the entire length of the meterstick.
5. Return to the most left pin when completing the length of the stick.
6. Movements needs to be precise.
7. Ensure there is no over-shooting or under-shooting of eye movement.
8. Place the pins every 10cm on the meterstick.
9. Shift your focus from the furthest left pin to the next pin down the entire length of the meterstick.
10. Return to the most left pin when completing the length of the stick.
11. Place the pins every 5cm on the meterstick.
12. Shift your focus from the furthest left pin to the next pin down the entire length of the meterstick.
13. Return to the most left pin when completing the length of the stick.
14. Place the pins every 2.5cm on the meterstick.
15. Shift your focus from the furthest left pin to the next pin down the entire length of the meterstick.
